Our Summer Bumble Bimble has both 5 mile or 10 mile options, however the Winter Bumble Bimble only has the 5 mile option , due to ground conditions and access etc.
It’s mostly trails with stiles, kissing gates, fields, mud, woodland and long grass. Some road use, very undulating with steep areas as well as some downhill breathers. Always taking in the spectacular countryside. Expect to get dirty!

5 Miles

Starting at the Park Gate Inn, the route takes you across the beautiful Dodford countryside, into the valley before entering the spectacular scenery of Nutnells Wood. Looping around the route, head over some quiet Dodford lanes and back into the valley up into the fields, back across Fockbury Road and back to the Park Gate pub for a well deserved drink!
10 Miles

Again starting at the Park Gate Inn, this route tracks the 5 mile course for around 4 miles but then turns left out of Nutnells Wood into more breathtaking scenery in the Chaddesley Wood nature reserve. The route is tricky and undulating and not recommended for novice trail runners. Next up is some beautiful woods where another incline will test tired legs. Then head across a challenging bridle path before a real treat of a descent towards the village hall. Another steep incline, then back down to the valley before you reach “the steps” and you’re not far from the finish!
